General information, not advice

Articles, deadlines, calculators and FAQs on this site are general information about Canadian and Ontario tax rules. They may not reflect recent changes and are not advice for your situation. Rely on advice only once we've reviewed your circumstances under a signed engagement letter.

Calculators and estimates

The package finder and T2 date calculator give estimates only. Your quote, fees and filing dates are confirmed in writing.

Engagements and fees

Services are provided under a written engagement letter that sets out the scope, fees and responsibilities. Prices on this site are in Canadian dollars and exclude HST (13% in Ontario) and government fees. Monthly packages are billed in advance and can be cancelled with 30 days' notice.

What we don't do

We don't perform audits or review engagements, give legal advice, or sell or recommend investment products.

Forms and bookings

Submitting a form doesn't create a client relationship or reserve an appointment. We confirm consultations separately.

Content and trademarks

Text, design and graphics on this site belong to us or our licensors. Photos are used under the Unsplash licence. Names of government agencies and software are used for identification only.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for losses arising from use of the general information on this website. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that can't be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes are subject to the courts of Ontario.
