Questions about payroll
When are source deductions due?
Most small employers are regular remitters, with deductions due to the CRA by the 15th of the month after pay is issued. Some new employers qualify for quarterly remitting; larger employers remit more often. We confirm your schedule during set-up.
Can you pay me, the owner, through payroll?
Yes. Many owner-managers of corporations pay themselves a salary, dividends or both. We can model the mix as part of an advisory session.
Do you handle WSIB?
We can prepare WSIB premium reports where your business is required to register. Some industries are exempt, so we check first.
