Questions about incorporation
When does incorporating make sense?
Often when you earn more than you need to live on and can leave profits in the company, or when you want limited liability. It adds cost and paperwork, so we run the numbers first.
Ontario or federal?
Ontario incorporation suits most businesses that operate mainly in Ontario. Federal incorporation gives broader name protection across Canada but requires extra provincial registration. We explain both.
Are government fees included?
No. Government filing and name search fees are charged at cost and shown separately on your quote.
