Our commitment

Eight Locks Tax & Accounting is committed to providing services in a way that respects the dignity and independence of people with disabilities, and to meeting the requirements of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) and the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation (O. Reg. 191/11).

Website accessibility

This website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, which exceeds the WCAG 2.0 Level AA requirement under Ontario's standards. Features include:

• Keyboard access to every link, form, tab and dialog, with a visible focus indicator
• A skip link to the main content
• Text and interface colours that meet AA contrast ratios
• Form fields with visible labels, clear error messages and no time limits
• Alternative text for meaningful images
• Respect for the reduced-motion setting in your operating system
• Tables with headers, and a weekly hours table that starts on Sunday

Known limitations

Photos are served by a third party and may load slowly on some connections. Some PDF documents we send clients may not yet be fully accessible — ask us for an accessible format.

In the office

Please tell us before your visit if you need an accommodation. Service animals and support persons are welcome. Meetings are also available by phone or video, and we can read documents aloud or provide them in large print.

Temporary disruptions

If a facility or service people with disabilities rely on is unavailable, we'll post a notice on this website and at the office with the reason, expected duration and alternatives.
